 CBSE Announces CTET Result 2023, Cutoff Released


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the result of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 on its official website. The CTET exam was conducted on 19th February 2023 across various centers in the country.



As per the official notification, a total of 13.5 lakh candidates had registered for the CTET exam 2023, out of which 12.8 lakh candidates appeared for Papers 1 and 2. Out of the total number of candidates who appeared, only 4.5 lakh candidates have qualified for the exam, which is around 35% of the total candidates who appeared.


The cutoff marks for the CTET exam have also been released on the official website. The cutoff marks for Paper 1 are 90 marks for general category candidates and 82 marks for reserved category candidates. The cutoff marks for Paper 2 are 87 marks for general category candidates and 80 marks for reserved category candidates.


The CTET exam is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teacher in various government schools across the country. The CTET certificate is valid for a period of 7 years.


Candidates who have qualified for the CTET exam can now apply for teaching positions in various government schools across the country. The CBSE will also release the CTET scorecard and mark sheet soon.
