Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" Review: A Disappointing Offering from Luv Ranjan

Luv Ranjan's latest release, "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The film, which revolves around the theme of deceit and betrayal, had generated a lot of buzz before its release, but unfortunately, it fails to live up to the hype.

The plot of "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" is centered around the relationship between Vicky (Ranbir Kapoor) and Sneha (Shraddha Kapoor). Vicky, a successful businessman, falls for Sneha, who is struggling to make a career in the film industry. However, their relationship takes a turn for the worse when Sneha reveals that she had been lying to Vicky about her background and family. The rest of the film follows their tumultuous journey as they navigate through the web of lies and deceit.

While the film's concept is interesting, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The pacing of the film is uneven, with several scenes feeling dragged out, while others feel rushed. The writing is also lackluster, with weak dialogue and predictable plot twists. The characters are one-dimensional and fail to evoke any emotional connection with the audience.

Ranbir Kapoor, who is known for his acting prowess, seems to be sleepwalking through his role in "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar." He fails to infuse his character with any depth, and his chemistry with Shraddha Kapoor feels forced and contrived. Shraddha Kapoor, too, fails to make an impact, with her performance falling flat.

The supporting cast, which includes Bassi Monica and other actors, also fails to leave a mark. Their characters are poorly written and are given little to do in the film, making their presence feel unnecessary.

The film's music, composed by Pritam, is also forgettable. The songs lack the catchiness and appeal that Pritam's music is known for, and fail to add any value to the film.

Overall, "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" is a disappointing offering from Luv Ranjan, who is known for his quirky and relatable films. The film lacks the freshness and charm that his earlier films, such as "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" and "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety," had. The film fails to deliver on its promise and is a forgettable affair that fails to leave any lasting impression on the audience.

In conclusion, "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" is a film that is best avoided. The weak writing, poor execution, and lackluster performances make it a tedious watch. If you're a fan of Luv Ranjan's earlier work, you're better off revisiting those films instead of wasting your time and money on this one.
